A Canadian project now become a legend, the latest edition of Generation will give four young composers the opportunity to explore sound with the musicians of the ECM+ and Véronique Lacroix. Mini-Concerts and public composition workshops led by Gabriel Dharmoo will give music lovers a glimpse into the musical writing process behind the work of Bekah Simms (N.L./Ont.), Gabriel Dufour-Laperrière (Que.), Stefan Maier (B.C.) and Matthew Ricketts (B.C./NY), each of which were selected by a prestigious national jury in the summer of 2019.
