SHOW DESCRIPTION
On May 23rd, Véronique Lacroix will conduct Montreal's virtuoso cellist Mariève Bock and Vancouver's Tempest Flute Ensemble with the Western Canadian presentation of The Four Elements. Composers Jocelyn Morlock and Edward Top of Vancouver and Éric Champagne and Emily Hall of Montreal compare their metaphysical visions of the universe with four new works inspired by one of the four elements (fire-earth-water-air). With the addition of fourteen young flutists scattered around the public, Eric Champagne’s water theme will provide total musical immersion.
