Inspired by the famous masterpiece that Paul Gauguin painted while in French Polynesia, four new works written by Montreal composers from various origins answer the questions asked by the painting: D'où venons-nous? Que sommes-nous? Où allons-nous? (Where do we come from? What are we? Where are we going?). An enigmatic game between light and shadow... for a highly colourful concert!
