Presented by Tempest Flute Ensemble and Beaty Biodiversity Museum

SHOW DESCRIPTION

Vancouver's Tempest Flute Ensemble will present Emergent Behaviour: a series of compositions that respond to the museum's permanent collections and our Skin & Bones exhibition.

This one hour concert features newly created works of music by Canadian composers Anna Höstman and Émilie LeBel, as well as recent pieces by James O'Callaghan and Jordan Nobles.

Famed Montreal conductor Véronique Lacroix leads the ensemble through a musical program that is every bit as beautiful, strange, and complex as the natural world that inspires it.

Emergent Behaviour was created with support from Canada Council for the Arts and the BC Arts Council.
