This large-scale multidisciplinary show combines orchestral and electroacoustic creations, dance and vocal art, visual arts and poetry. Presented in a single continuous thread, L’Outre-rêve takes the form of an initiatory narrative—written by poet and composer Symon Henry—that explores the relationship between bodies and identities, memories and their transformation into stories.

In a mesmerizing and unrestrained voice, these themes are conveyed by four archetype characters, steeped in the mixed Eastern and Western cultural heritage of their author. The Vieux Clown, Louve que j’aime, Djinn l’éphémère and Nour d’Outre-rêve engage with one another and consider their history and the traces left behind in short episodes linking four contrasting main works.
